Which building typology am I researching?
      The building typology that I will be researching is a hotel.

Why am I researching this building typology?
     I have always wanted to create a building on a larger scale than residential homes. one that is distinct, modern and unique. A building that people will gaze at and be awful over. The reason for choosing a hotel is both practical for my life goals and it also allows me to show my design skill at a large scale.

What is the specialty of this building type that I would like to research? (i.e. museum for dance, school for digital media . . .)
      There is one specific building type that I would like to research having never designed it and always having a passion to design. This building type is a modern hotel which also serves as a conference center which a few dining halls.

What are my goals for working with this building type?
     My goals for using these typologies is not only to get a better understanding of these types but to also understand their uses and roles in a project. Also to see how the different spaces integrate with each other.

What are the program elements that I see included at this point in my building? (this may evolve more once research is done)
     lobby, front desk/reception, administrator offices, kitchen, bell service/luggage area, gift shops/convenience stores, rooms (regular, deluxe, suites, multi-room suites, penthouse, etc.), conference rooms (multiple sizes), dining halls, bathrooms per floor, ice room with refreshments per floor of hotel guests, mezzanine, cafeteria/buffet/dinning room, elevators/stairs, business center, balcony as needed
